REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

At Tejaswini our endeavour is to ensure that every transaction at our website is seamless. We take great care in choosing the finest products combining with timeless techniques to adhere to the highest quality standards.

To maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as keep our prices fair, not all products are eligible for returns. Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing. 

As a policy, we do not offer refunds but in the unlikely event that the product is wrongfully delivered (product does not match the item in the order confirmation) or has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect then we are open to re-fulfilling your order, issue a credit note for exchange or extending a full refund.

We click our photos in natural light so that the product depicted on the website is closest to how it looks in reality. However, there are times when the camera lens cannot match the perspective of an eye and thus slight colour difference seen in the product is unavoidable. Some products and colours also tend to look slightly brighter in photos as the camera lens always highlights certain colours more.

Also, our products are truly handcrafted so slight irregularities in motifs, texture, and colour are a part and parcel of handcrafted products and lend character to it. Please also understand handcrafted products are not mass manufactured but made in batches hence slight variation in colour, shade, motif in each batch produced is natural due to the human involvement in the process. 

RETURNS

In the odd case that you need to return the Tejaswini products, please refer to our Return Policy to know if it is eligible for return or exchange.

Products eligible for returns:

  • Sarees (Sarees with fall and edging would not be accepted for return or exchange)
  • Dupatta
  • Other Clothing items
  • Fabrics

NOTE: Made to order items are not eligible for return

Our  return policy is as under:

1.  We believe variations are the beauty of handmade products & this is what makes them unique. Imperfections / irregularities in the product cannot be termed as defects, as these are intrinsic to the handmade process. Refund on the basis of such queries will not be entertained. We request you to check the product details thoroughly before buying any product. Many of the products(fabric) are made of natural colours & may bleed during first few washes and therefore need special care. Kindly follow the instructions mentioned properly to increase the longevity of the product.

2.  In case of damage / defect found in the product when it is received, a complaint with the clear pictures of the defected area should be filed at the time of receiving the product. This should be mailed at customercare@tejaswinistore.com and a return request should be filed through the website. We will get back to you within 48 hours of receiving the complaint. A pickup for the product will be initiated after the query has gone through and been found valid by our quality team. The sole decision of considering the validity of the query after hearing it from the customer however lies with the quality team. A store Credit against the refundable amount will be issued thereafter.

3.  A product will be eligible for replacement only in cases where there are defects found with the products. We, strictly, do not have returns on the basis of your choice and selection upon receiving the product

4.  Please send us an email request at customercare@tejaswinistore.com with “Return Item” in the subject line. Please mention the order number and attach a photo of the damaged product within 24 hours of receiving your order.

5.  If you think, you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. Also, please email us at customercare@tejaswinistore.com mentioning your Order ID, we will personally ensure that a brand-new replacement of same product (if available) or another product of the same value is issued to you with no additional cost

6.  The Tejaswini Care team must receive and approve your return request. Once your return request is approved, we will arrange for a reverse pickup at no extra cost within India. For international orders, the customer will need to send the product back to us and bear the shipping cost. (We usually do a thorough consultation for all international orders to avoid any issues, so a need for return/exchange usually does not arise)

7.  Products that are eligible for return, can be returned within 3 days of receiving the merchandise

8.  After receiving the returned product, we will provide you a store credit amounting the value of your returned order excluding any shipping cost paid by you at the time of placing an order. The amount will reflect in your Tejaswini account within 24 working hours from when we receive the product, and it has gone through the necessary quality checks. 

9.  You can use the store credit code with a validity of 6 months for any product listed on our website

10. If the return is due to an error on our part (incorrect item sent, damaged/defective product), we will replace the product. However, if you'd like to receive the amount back to the same payment mode that you used to place this order, we will initiate the refund after we receive the item, and it has gone through the necessary quality checks

11.  Items to be returned must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. Return items will only be accepted in their original packaging with the sales invoice failing which Tejaswini Store shall not be liable to process any return.

12.  In case the Quality Team result determines that there is no material manufacturing defect in the product, then the product shall be returned to the customer.

13.  No refunds would be given if the customer has provided wrong or incomplete shipping address, there are 3 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient. Also, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the right mobile number and mail ID while placing an order; the company will not be liable if you do not receive order information because of wrong contact details provided by you.
